Our team served as the Structural Engineers and Supervisors for the development of the Allstates Trust Bank headquarters located on Oyin Jolayemi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos — a landmark commercial structure that combines elegance, durability, and function in the heart of Nigeria’s financial district.
This multi-storey office complex was designed to project corporate confidence and modernity, with a bold glass façade and strong concrete framework. The structure accommodates the bank’s administrative operations, customer banking halls, conference areas, and executive offices, all within a carefully planned vertical layout that optimizes both internal efficiency and external visual appeal.
Offering 1.2 million square feet of office space, over 12,000 square feet of retail space and 339 parking stalls, 160 Front Street West is slated for completion in late 2023.
As Structural Engineers and Supervisors, our role covered:
Full structural design and detailing of columns, beams, slabs, staircases, and retaining walls.
Structural supervision during construction, ensuring that all reinforcements, formwork, and concrete works met design specifications.
Coordination with architects and MEP consultants to ensure structural integrity while maintaining the building’s architectural vision.
Oversight of foundation design and soil-structure interaction, appropriate for the coastal conditions of Victoria Island.
Quality assurance and site supervision, guaranteeing adherence to safety, stability, and performance standards.
